WEDNESDAY 4th MAY

HEADLINES @ 0830Hrs
A delightful morning (yet again! ), with tiny amounts of cirrus cloud & scarcely any breeze. BUT--it's been a very cold night, with the lowest air temperature since March18th & a frighteningly low ground min. at this site (-9.7 ). Gardens will need checking for any damage to tender plants. However, there is news gardeners & growers will be happy to hear in the outlook.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Sunny spells, lighter winds & temperatures reaching 14 or 15 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Some sunshine this evening & clear spells for much of the night. There may be rather more in the way of cloud about towards morning. There could still be a touch of ground frost, but not as cold as the night just gone.

OUTLOOK
THURSDAY will see rather more cloud about than for a long time. There may be a little rain later in the day. FRIDAY to SUNDAY is likely to be much more unsettled, with more cloud, less sunshine & a likelihood of showers or longer spells of rain. Day-time temperatures are likely to be a little above normal, while nights will be much milder than recently.
