UPDATE @1730 hrs
Early low cloud & drizzle were soon replaced by brighter weather, though with a few showers.During the afternoon, the wind increased to force 7 in gusts, but sunny periods were more in evidence than the scattered showers. It was a touch warmer than yesterday, but 14.3 is still below the average.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Perhaps still the odd shower around & still windy, but the tendency is for dry& clear conditions overnight & for winds to decrease.Lowest temperatures will be around 6 degrees.
OUTLOOK
MONDAY will be a day of sunny spells & scattered showers & still cool & breezy, BUT--------*
* AN EARLY NOTICE OF SOME GOOD WEATHER!!! THE BBC ARE GIVING A MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 21 DEGREES ON THURSDAY----COULD THAT BEAT APRIL 10th? *
