SATURDAY 14th MAY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1715Hrs
The weather was just about as good as could be expected today. There were a few "spitty" showers scattered around, but the main shower track lay a few miles to the east, as a number of sharp showers tracked from NW to SE. The temperature reached a respectable 14.5, but out of the sun & in the fresh NW breeze, it felt rather chilly.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The evening should be mainly dry, with broken cloud & some sunshine. The overnight period should be generally clear. There may be a slight ground frost in prone areas.

SUNDAY(CYCLE RACE)
It should start dry, but cloud will be increasing from the west. Pitlochry is likely to have only light & patchy rain as the day goes on. Further west, the rain is likely to be somewhat heavier & more persistent, with low cloud covering all high ground. Winds will be moderate to fresh from the NW. Maximum temperatures will reach 13 to 14 degrees.

OUTLOOK
Unsettled, with showers or longer spells of rain & temperatures reaching between 13 & 15 degrees.
