At 0910 this morning, an excursion from North Berwick to Kyle approaches Pitlochry, powered by a preserved DELTIC diesel. These noisy, powerful beasts operated between London Kings X & Edinburgh back in the 60's & 70's at speeds up to 100 mph. Not much chance of attaining those speeds on the Highland or Kyle lines!
