MONDAY 2nd MAY

UPDATE @ 1700Hrs
Despite long spells of sunshine, the E to SE wind brought rather cooler conditions to our area today. The morning felt distinctly cool & there were more cloud patches around than of late. The afternoon was pleasantly warm facing the sun & sheltered from the wind. The day's highest temperature was 15.0 degrees, very close to the average value.

 THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A mainly sunny evening & a clear night. It will again become nippy overnight, with many places having a ground frost & a few an air frost.

OUTLOOK
The next day or two will again see mainly sunny skies, with just a few cloud patches. Winds will continue to blow from between E & SE, perhaps decreasing in strength from previous days. Maximum temperatures are likely to peak in the range 14 to 15 degrees & nights should become rather less cold.  There is still a likelihood of some rain Thursday night/Friday.
