A further 2.2mms in evening & overnight showers, making a 24Hr total of 6.4 mms. My plants & trees seem to be happy, but now the grass is too wet to mow & you never know quite where you stand with showers! ( Some people are never happy as far as the weather is concerned!!)
PITLOCHRY TODAY
A day of variable amounts of cloud, some sunny intervals, but also some showers, which could be heavy. It's always hit & miss in these situations & places only a short distance apart can often receive significant differences in the amount of rain that falls. Temperatures should peak at about 15 degrees, while winds will be from the S.W. tending to be gusty in association with any heavier showers.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
It seems likely that there will be more cloudy spells at times, both through the evening & overnight, with more showers from time to time. Lowest temperature down to about 8 degrees.
OUTLOOK
In general terms, the period from THURSDAY to SUNDAY will continue with the sunshine & showers theme, with winds in the W or SW & temperatures reaching 12 to 14 by day & with no overnight frost.
