SATURDAY 7th MAY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1645Hrs
Much of the day was dry & rather cloudy. The sunniest & warmest time was early afternoon, when the temperature reached 19.5 degrees. By 1700hrs, a belt of rain was moving north over Fife.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A period of rain is expected for a time during early/mid evening & some of this could be heavy. There will then be a spell of drier weather before another rain area arrives in the early hours, lasting into Sunday. It will be a mild night, with temperatures remaining in double figures.

OUTLOOK
SUNDAY will start cloudy with spells of rain. This should give way to drier, brighter conditions later in the morning, though there could still be the odd shower around. A little cooler than Saturday, with the maximum temperature reaching 16 degrees.   Sunny spells & showers for MONDAY, with some light rain for TUESDAY. Daytime temperatures near or slightly below normal. No frost expected.
