MONDAY 16th MAY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
SEE BRIEF REPORT ON 1st HALF OF MAY ON BLOG BELOW
Rather cloudy & breezy at present, but mild & dry. I wish the BBC & MET OFFICE would get their act together more, on their forecasts for our area! Timing of any rain, as well as max. & min temp. forecasts, are often at odds. At least it leaves plenty of scope for an amateur like me---but I have the advantage of being ON THE SPOT!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Though rather cloudy,( with plenty of rain further west), it will be mostly dry & at times fairly bright. There may be very small amounts of rain on occasions. It will be breezy, with highest temperatures reaching 14 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Dry with some clear periods. Minimum temperatures down to about 5, with the slightest touch of ground frost possible in a few prone spots only.

OUTLOOK
TUESDAY will see some dry bright weather for much of the time. Some rain is expected during the evening & night. Daytime temperatures up to 13 or 14.  WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY will see some dry bright weather & a few showers. It will be rather cool & quite breezy.
