TUESDAY 3rd MAY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1700Hrs
The fine weather goes on & on!  There was a little more cloud around today, more so this morning, but now it is largely clear sky. The maximum temperature, however, was a little lower today, as the air is now arriving from a colder source. The thermometer only reached 14.0 degrees, which is 1.7 lower than the average maximum for the whole of the April just gone!

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
After a mostly sunny evening, the night will be mainly clear. It will become nippy, with most places having a ground frost & a few will see the air temperature below zero.

OUTLOOK
WEDNESDAY will be another dry day, with patches of cloud, but also long spells of sunshine. Highest temperature will be around 14 to 15 degrees. Thursday may become more cloudy at times, but should stay mainly dry. Friday & Saturday are likely to be less settled with some rain or showers around. Night-times are set to become less cold & there may be a warming trend during the daytime at the end of the week.
