SUNDAY 8th MAY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Gardeners & growers will be delighted with the past 24Hr rainfall (14.6 mms ), which is nearly 1/4 of an average month's total. It was the "right kind" of rain as well!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Still more occasional rain to come through this morning. This afternoon should become brighter, with some sunny spells & apart from the outside chance of a shower, it should be dry. Just a little cooler than yesterday, with the maximum reaching about 16 in sunshine this afternoon.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Apart from the chance of an isolated shower, the period should be dry with some clear spells overnight. Lowest temperatures will be a few degrees lower than in the last couple of nights, but only the most prone spots are likely to be anywhere near getting a very slight ground frost.

OUTLOOK
MONDAY will be a day of sunshine & a few showers. TUESDAY is likely to be mainly cloudy, with some occasional rain. Daytime temperatures will be close to normal & there should be no frost.
