THURSDAY 26th MAY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
There was some rain overnight, but it is dry at present, though rather cloudy. Much of  this cloud is rather thin with a few small patches of clear sky.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A large area of low pressure is centred over the North Sea. It will be a largely cloudy day. There is a fair amount of rain around, but the worst of it is to the north & east of Pitlochry & we may well escape much of it. However, there is not likely to be much sunshine & the odd outbreak of rain is always possible (worth keeping an eye on the rain radar today). It will certainly still be cool for late May, with best temperatures around 13 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Apart from an odd shower, it is likely to be mainly dry, with some clear intervals. A rather cool night in prospect.

OUTLOOK
FRIDAY should be off to a fine start with some sunny spells. Cloud will probably increase later in the day, with some rain following, Perhaps a degree or two less cool.   THE WEEKEND will be rather changeable. There will be some sunshine around, but also some showers or even longer spells of rain. Temperatures staying below normal for late May.
