WEDNESDAY 25th MAY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1730Hrs
Another poor day for late May, with the emphasis on large amounts of cloud & low temperatures. Highest temperature today was only 11.5 & up to May 25th, the mean maximum temperature is running at 1.2 degrees BELOW last month.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The period will be cloudy & though dry at times, there will be some patches of light rain around this evening. As the night goes on, there is a greater chance of some spells of rain. Lowest temperatures should be no lower than 7 or 8, with light winds.

OUTLOOK
THURSDAY is expected to be rather cloudy, with only a few cloud breaks & glimpses of sunshine. Showers or longer spells of rain are probable with an area of low pressure sitting over S. E. Scotland.   Temperatures are likely to be pegged back to about 13 degrees.
FRIDAY may well be the best day of this week, as a ridge of high pressure will be affecting us, but still cool & rather changeable beyond that.
