SUNDAY 29th MAY

HEADLINES @ 0830Hrs
A bit depressing out there at present, with low cloud & drizzle. Seems all the worse after that wonderful April!!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Low cloud with a little drizzle at first this morning. Later this morning, it should become dry, with cloud lifting & breaking to give some sunshine & perhaps the odd shower this afternoon (these should not be as frequent as yesterday ). It will become windy, with gusts up to at least force 6 on occasions, as a low pressure centre passes over Northern Scotland, tightening the isobars & causing a strong W. flow. Remaining rather cool, with best temperatures around 13 or 14 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Any showers around should die out & the night will become dry with clear spells. Lowest temperatures will fall to around 5 or 6 degrees & the wind will gradually die down.

OUTLOOK
MONDAY promises to be another day of sunshine & showers. It will be rather breezy, as well as cool.
TUESDAY should see more sunshine & fewer if any showers.
INTO JUNE---the month may begin with some rain on wednesday, but temperatures are then expected to rise somewhat.
