THURSDAY 19th MAY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1645Hrs
There were a few mainly brief, light showers, principally this morning, as well as some intervals of sunshine. The maximum temperature only reached 13.4, somewhat below average for this stage in May & bettered on 22 days in April 2011.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The evening will be bright, with partly cloudy skies, but also some hazy sunshine. There could just be an isolated shower in the next hour or so. Temperatures won't fall as low as last night & no ground frost is expected . Cloud will increase & lower later, bringing a spell of rain to the area by or before dawn.

OUTLOOK
FRIDAY will start with some rain, but this should clear during the morning to leave a breezy day, with broken cloud & some spells of sunshine. There are likely to be a few showers around too. Highest temperatures will be around 13 or 14 degrees.     THE WEEKEND is likely to be rather unsettled with rain or showers at times, rather windy, but with some sunny intervals, especially on Sunday.
