SATURDAY 7th MAY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hr
It's cloudy with light rain at present. The overnight rain, while welcome, was still inadequate to compensate for the dry March & April.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
The early morning rain is on its last legs, then the rest of the morning should be mainly dry with broken cloud & some sunshine. During the afternoon & early evening, there will be some heavy showers around & most places are likely to be affected. It will become rather warm as the day progresses, with haximum temperatures around 18 or 19 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Early evening showers will die out & it will be dry for a time. More persistent rain will reach the area later in the night, lasting well into Sunday. The overnight period will be mild with no frost.

OUTLOOK
SUNDAY is expected to have rain at times until early afternoon, at which point drier, brighter weather will spread in from the west.  NEXT WEEK will start in a changeable mood, Despite some sunny intervals, there are likely to be showers or longer spells of rain at times & it will be a little cooler.
