WEDNESDAY 23rd FEBRUARY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1630Hrs
It was again a largely cloudy day, with some light rain & drizzle on occasions, but only amounting to 0.5mms. Later in the afternoon, the cloud broke somewhat, a very welcome change from the pattern of recent days. The highest temperature was 9.3 degrees, which is about 3 degrees above the February average.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The evening & first part of the night should be mostly dry, with only odd scattered showers around. Later in the night, cloud will thicken as a spell of rain moves in from the west. Temperatures will remain above freezing.

OUTLOOK
THURSDAY may start with some rain & there will be more overnight, but much of the day will be dry & mild, probably one of the best days this winter. Temperatures should reach double figures.   After rain has cleared on FRIDAY, there should be broken cloud, some sunshine & the odd shower through the weekend, but daytime temperatures will gradually drop back to normal values & overnight frosts will return.
