UPDATE @ 1630
It's been a cloudy day, with continuous rain this morning, but lighter & more intermittent this afternoon. Between 0900Hrs & 1630Hrs, 6.8mms of rain fell. The temperature rose to 4.9 degrees & was still at that level at 1630Hrs.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The belt of rain has now cleared into the North Sea, but further rain or sleet seems likely to move up from the south later on. There is a small risk of a light snow accumulation by morning. Minimum temperature close to zero.
OUTLOOK
NEXT WEEK will be generally brighter with some intervals of sunshine, but there will also be showers around, likely to contain some wet snow. More general rain is likely Tuesday night & into Wednesday.
