TUESDAY 1st FEBRUARY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1630Hrs
A heavy shower caught us this morning & there was a "near miss" later on, but between times & especially this afternoon, there has been a lot of dry weather with some sunshine. The maximum temperature reached 6.2 & the current value was 3.7.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Just the chance of an early evening shower, but otherwise dry until the wee small hours, when a spell of rain is expected to arrive, with increasing SW winds. The rain is expected to last, on & off, until around lunchtime tomorrow.

OUTLOOK
Unsettled, with belts of rain alternating with sunny intervals & showers. Temperatures are likely to fluctuate, with some mild interludes with some of the rain, but colder during the showery spells, making some snow a possibility, especially at the higher levels. It will be windy at times, with gale force winds likely.
