Those watching "rain today"will have seen the rain- belt nearby to the south, shearing away NE-wards to leave a dry Pitlochry.It became a little brighter this afternoon, but temperatures remained on the low side, maximum was 3.4 & the current, 1.8
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A dry evening & most of the night, with partly cloudy skies & a few clear intervals. Temperatures will fall close to freezing, with at least a ground frost likely. Towards morning, there may be a short spell of rain or sleet.
OUTLOOK
There should be plenty of dry weather, with some intervals of sunshine for most of Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. However, Wednesday is likely to become rather wet & windy. There is now the hint of a cold spell on the horizon for the following week, with winds from the east. Oh for a February like 1998, with a mean maximum of 10.2 & mean minimum of 4.1!!
