FRIDAY 4th FEBRUARY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
It's started raining already & there's some ice around too. After 24 mms of rain, the lawn is in a mess, with the sub surface still frozen. Looks a dismal prospect for today!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
It will be a mainly overcast day & rain (with perhaps some sleet ), will spread from the SW later in the morning, persisting into the evening. The rain is likely to be fairly heavy on occasions. Winds will blow from between SE & SW & be fresh at times. Temperatures will generally stay around 2 to 4 degrees for much of the time.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Rain at first, but becoming lighter & dying out, with more broken cloud & a few showers. Becoming milder for a time, but then colder again by morning.

OUTLOOK
Between Saturday & Tuesday, the weather should settle down somewhat, with a fair amount of dry weather & some sunshine. It will be rather cold by day with some slight overnight frosts.
