TUESDAY 8th FEBRUARY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Frosty, but very pleasant, with broken cloud & the sun trying to shine. The minimum temperature was -1.4 in the air & -5.0 on the ground, with the lawn rock hard.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A frosty start, but a fine day ahead with some sunny spells. Winds will be moderate from the W.& maximum temperatures will reach around 4 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
 The evening will start dry with some clear spells, but by midnight, cloud will have increased from the S.W.& rain will follow. It is possible that, initially, some of this may fall as sleet or snow, but accumulations are only expected on higher ground. Any snow should have turned to rain before dawn.Minimum temperatures may drop a touch below freezing during the evening.

OUTLOOK
Rather cloudy, with perhaps a little rain on Wednesday morning. Dry & bright on Thursday, but more wind & rain on Friday.
