WEDNESDAY 16th FEBRUARY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
A miserable morning, with low, grey cloud & rain, but at  least we escaped a frost.The rainfall total continues to mount, currently 30% above average.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
It will be generally cloudy throughout the day, though most of the rain will fall this morning. The rain will tend to become lighter by late morning, before dying out during the afternoon.Temperatures will peak at around 5 or 6  degrees, with a SE breeze adding to the raw feel.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Mainly dry, with broken cloud & a few clear intervals. Temperatures will fall close to zero, with at least a frost on the ground.

OUTLOOK
THURSDAY should see a dry start, but with some rain moving up from the south later. It remains unsettled in the further outlook, with Saturday probably the worst day. It will be cold during the period, with winds staying in the south east.
