3cms of snow this morning, most of it from a shower around 0700/0730. Minimum temperature was -0.8 & current temperature -0.5. With blue skies & bright sunshine, it's actually rather nice at present! (but for the snow)
PITLOCHRY TODAY
Dry this morning with some sunshine, but then going downhill, as cloud increases from the west. During the afternoon, some sleet or snow will commence, probably turning to sleet or rain later & dying out early evening. Highest temperature around 3 degrees, so a slow thaw of the present lying snow. Winds from the S. strengthening later.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Any rain or sleet dying out, to give a night of broken cloud with a few clear intervals. Rather windy, with lowest temperature around zero.
OUTLOOK
More rain (perhaps some snow) & gales on Friday & becoming temporarily milder. More in the way of sunshine over the weekend, but rather cold.
