UPDATE @ 1630Hrs
A pleasant start to the day, but cloud increased fairly quickly. There was a shower earlier this afternoon & the sky looks quite threatening at present, with a force 4 E to SE wind making it feel cold. The highest temperature today only reached 4.7 degrees.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Remaining mainly cloudy & though generally dry for a time, rain will spread from the south during the evening, persisting on & off during the night. Lowest temperatures will be around 1 degree.
OUTLOOK
On WEDNESDAY, an overcast start with rain, but becoming drier & a little brighter during the morning, with perhaps some sunny intervals in the afternoon. Highest temperatures around 5 degrees. THE LATTER PART OF THE WEEK will become somewhat colder, with the odd snow shower & perhaps some accumulations of snow by the weekend. The below average temperatures will be accentuated by a fresh SE wind, importing colder air from the continent
