An excellent morning, with plenty of sunshine & temperatures rising to the highest value this winter ( 12.2 degrees ). A heavy shower around 1215/1230, together with further showery conditions around mid-late afternoon, left 1.5 mms in the raingauge.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Still the chance of a shower, but it should become mainly dry, with some clear spells & become chilly with a ground frost.
OUTLOOK
SATURDAY will see some cloudy, showery weather for a time, but later it should become mainly dry with some sunshine. Winds will turn into the NW & it won't be as mild as today. Maximum around 8 degrees. SUNDAY is expected to be mainly dry, perhaps with an odd shower. Overnight frosts are likely.
