UPDATE @ 1700Hrs
It proved an unsettled day, with a belt of rain late morning, containing some sleet & a rather showery afternoon. If that wasn't enough, the highest temperature of the day was only 3.4, nearly 3 degrees below normal.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
There may be the odd shower or two this evening, perhaps sleety, but much of the night will be dry, with a few clear intervals. Minimum temperatures will be close to zero.
OUTLOOK
TUESDAY will become rather cloudy with some occasional rain or sleet. Winds will be from the SE, with highest temperatures around 4 or 5 degrees. THE REST of the WORKING WEEK will see some sunshine & a few showers, with FRIDAY turning colder. The heavier showers could contain some snowflakes, especially on FRIDAY. Winds will settle into the SE & be fresh at times, so feeling on the cold side.
