A bright crisp morning, with some sunshine. There's been a slight air frost, but down to -5 on the ground.
PITLOCHRY TODAY
A dry start, but some frost & ice at first, as well as some valley mist patches. There will be some largely clear skies & sunshine for a time, but cloud will tend to increase, with some showers or longer spells of rain, with some sleet possible, breaking out later in the afternoon. There will be a breeze from the SE, so feeling cold, with a maximum temperature of around 4 degrees.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A generally cloudy evening & night, with some spells of rain, perhaps sleety at times. Minimum temperatures will be close to zero.
OUTLOOK
Remaining rather cold & becoming colder by Friday. Some dry bright weather, but also a few showers around, these becoming increasingly of snow from Friday. A noticeable SE wind, which will accentuate the cold as the week progresses.
