SATURDAY 26th FEBRUARY----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1700Hrs
For the 4th successive day, temperatures have reached values above the average for the month. Today, the thermometer touched 9.5, somewhat down on yesterday. There was plenty of sunshine around this morning, but a build-up of cloud took place during the afternoo, with a few showers acoss the region. Nothing measurable fell here.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
 A dry evening (still an isolated shower around). Overnight, there will be long clear periods with a frost. Lowest temperatures will be around -2 & much lower on the ground.  More cloud, with temperatures recovering a little by morning.

 OUTLOOK
A belt of showers is likely to move through first thing, but once this has cleared, it should be dry with some sunshine & only isolated showers. Highest temperatures reaching about 8 degrees.  MONDAY looks dry with some sunshine, but TUESDAY promises to be more cloudy, with perhaps a little rain on occasions.
