MONDAY 28th FEBRUARY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
A beautiful morning, but decidedly nippy. Last night saw the joint lowest air minimum temperature this month (-3.6 ). The ground minimum was easily the lowest of the month at -9.3 degrees. At 0900Hrs, it was completely cloudless, with just a light drift of air from the NNW. A perfect day for taking a stroll; perhaps the ground may be a little too firm, following the frost, for any digging in the garden!!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
After a frosty start, it will be a dry, mostly sunny day & winds should be lighter than yesterday. Highest temperatures should reach around 8 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The evening will start clear & cold, with a frost developing. During the night, cloud will increase, preventing temperatures from falling further There may be a little light & patchy rain for a short time.

OUTLOOK
A fair amount of dry weather this week, though not as sunny as today. Temperatures holding up to near or a little above normal values.
