FRIDAY 1st APRIL

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Not a very inspiring start to the new month, with overcast skies & a little rain falling. At least its ideal for tackling all the extra work involved in preparing weather report & summaries for the month just gone!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
The morning will be overcast with spells of rain, much of it light, occasionally moderate. By lunchtime, it should become mostly dry & there may be some cloud breaks with some intervals of sunshine during the afternoon. Despite a fresh breeze, it should become very mild, with maximum temperatures around 15 degrees(even a little higher if the sun stays out for any length of time)

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A dry start, but before midnight, rain will arrive from the west, lasting into Saturday morning. It will, however,be a mild night.

OUTLOOK
SATURDAY will start cloudy with some rain & this may last for a good part of the morning. The afternoon should become mostly dry, with some sunshine, but there will be a few heavy showers around, so a hit or miss situation. Not quite as mild as Friday, with a high of around 12 degrees.SUNDAY will be a day of sunshine & showers, so there is a chance of being affected by a heavy, thundery one. Equally, a few lucky spots could miss the worst of things.A touch cooler than the previous day at around 10 degrees.
