TUESDAY 5th APRIL----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1700Hrs
It was the warmest day of 2011 to date, with the thermometer reaching 15.2 degrees. Apart from a few slight spits of rain around 1430/1500, the day turned out better than expected, with generous amounts of sunshine, especially this afternoon. It was, however, quite breezy with gusts around force 5 to 6.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The period is expected to be mild, with cloud likely to increase. There is likely to be some rain at times later on, though much of this will probably be light & some dry intervals are expected as well.

OUTLOOK
WEDNESDAY is likely to see some rain at first, but there should be a spell of drier, brighter weather during the day, before more rain returns later. Temperatures should reach 15 or 16 degrees.Still looking good for LATER in the WEEK, as high pressure takes control of the weather U.K.-wide
