UPDATE @ 1700Hrs
The day went much as expected; mainly cloudy, rather cold with tiny amounts of rain. The highest temperature was a touch below average & may well prove to be the coldest day of the week. There was a little brightness later in the day & this may push the thermometer up a fraction yet.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The evening & night are expected to be mainly dry, but rather cloudy. Frost is not expected, with minimum about 6 degrees.
OUTLOOK
THURSDAY may start cloudy & damp, but things are expected to improve, with some sunshine as the day goes on. It should be about 3 degrees milder than today. FRIDAY & THE WEEKEND are looking reasonably settled at this stage.
