London hit 25 degrees yesterday & may touch 26 today! Here in Pitlochry, low cloud of North Sea origin, is making a frustrating nuisance of itself & we will have to wait patiently for the lifting & breaking of cloud to take place. Not cold, however, as we are close to 10 degrees already following a mild night.
PITLOCHRY TODAY
Starting cloudy again, as extensive low cloud covers many areas not too far away from the North Sea. Hopefully, as yesterday, breaks in the cloud sheet with sunny intervals, will start to appear before the end of the morning. The remainder of the day will then be partly cloudy, but with some spells of sunshine. It should again be rather warm, with a maximum of around 16 or 17 degrees.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Broken cloud with some evening sunshine & some clear spells overnight, with probably more cloud from the North Sea returning later. No frost likely.
OUTLOOK
Dry for a few days yet, but sunshine amounts dependent on how quickly North Sea low cloud clears. The sunniest & warmest weather will generally be in the west, with east coast districts likely to be the coolest & cloudiest.
