WEDNESDAY 6th APRIL----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1700Hrs
Rather more rain than expected this morning & cloud breaks slow to arrive this afternoon, but it was nevertheless the warmest day of 2011 to date & indeed, the warmest since Sept. 20th. Aberdeen(airport) reached 19.7 this afternoon.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A band of rain to go through early/mid evening on a cold front. After this, the cloud should break, giving clear spells, though temperatures are likely to fall to about 4 degrees & a ground frost could occur in prone spots.

OUTLOOK
THURSDAY will be a dry day, with broken cloud & some suuny spells. It will, however, be colder than the past couple of days at around 12 degrees with a fresh W wind. FRIDAY promises to be dry & bright & a touch warmer.
