THURSDAY 28th APRIL----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1730Hrs
Another superb day, with very little cloud, though later in the afternoon, some medium height cloud began to encroach from the NW, fragmenting as it did so. Highest temperatures were better than predicted, reaching 17.2 degrees, close to a normal JUNE value. It was only 13 degrees at Dundee Airport at 1500Hrs.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Some sunshine this evening & clear spells overnight. Chilly yet again, with most places getting a ground frost, while the most prone spots may see an air frost too.

OUTLOOK
 A dry day on FRIDAY, following a nippy start. There should be good spells of sunshine, but there will also be a fresh E.breeze, In the sun & sheltered from the east wind, it should feel very pleasant. Highest temperatures should be close to 16 degrees.
THE WEEKEND looks promising---dry, with sunny spells & maximum temperatures around 15 or 16. There will continue to be a fresh breeze off the North Sea.
