SUNDAY 10th APRIL

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
There was a lot of mist around at 8a.m.but this has cleared rapidly. There has been a heavy dew & the ground temperature was only slightly above zero. The cloud around today is generally going to be at the 20 to 25,000ft level &won't prevent the sun from shining. Make the best of today--remember that the April daytime norm is only about 11 degrees!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
The day will be dry with spells of sunshine. There will be some cloud about at high levels (cirrus & cirrostratus), which will make sunshine hazy at times, especially later in the day. This will be the last of the warm days for the time being, with the thermometer rising to around 18 or 19 degrees (7 or 8 degrees above what is normal at this time of year).

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
It will be a rather cloudy evening & night. Though dry for much of the time, there is likely to be a short spell of light & patchy rain through the night as a cold front passes through. It will remain mild, with no frost expected.

OUTLOOK
There may be a cloudy start on MONDAY with a little rain left over, but much of the day should be dry with some sunshine. An odd shower is possible. It will be breezy from the west & temperatures are likely to be about 6 degrees lower than Sundays. TUESDAY should be a little colder still, but with some sunshine & perhaps the odd shower.
