SUNDAY 10th APRIL----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1700Hrs
What a superb day!  It's been the warmest day so far this year, with a maximum temperature of 21.2 degrees.
THIS IS ALMOST 10 DEGREES ABOVE THE AVERAGE MAXIMUM FOR APRIL
IT'S BEEN THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE SINCE 3rd SEPTEMBER 2010.
DURING THE 92 DAYS OF SUMMER 2010(JUNE/JULY AUGUST), ONLY 13 DAYS WERE WARMER THAN TODAY (which says as much about last summer as it does about 10th April 2011!!)

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The evening will be dry & warm. Overnight, cloud will increase & a cold front will pass through. This will bring a spell of rain around dawn, though only fairly small totals of rain are expected locally(the gardens need more than we are likely to get). Lowest temperatures are likely to be around 8 degrees.

OUTLOOK
MONDAY will probably start cloudy with a little rain. This should soon clear to give some sunsnine & broken cloud. There could be an odd shower around in the afternoon. It will be breezy & will feel much cooler than today, although temperatures will actually be fairly near to normal with a high of 12 degrees.TUESDAY should see sunny spells & perhaps a shower, with near-normal temperatures.
