WEDNESDAY 6th APRIL

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Tyndrum received 51.2mms in the 24hrs to 10pm (we had 0.8mms in the 24hrs to 9a.m.). We actually BROKE A RECORD last night, because it proved to be the mildest April night in 35 yrs of records(min. of 11.8 degrees). It's already over 14 degrees at 0900hrs.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
The morning will start cloudy with mainly small amounts of light rain, possibly the odd moderate outbreak . Hopefully, the latter part of the morning & the afternoon should become dry & somewhat brighter, with temperatures rising to 17 degrees, which would make it the warmest day since Sept.20th. A further band of rain is likely to pass through this evening.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The evening's rain will be brought by a cold front, introducing dry, clear conditions during the night,  but also lower temperatures, with miimum down to about 4 degrees.

OUTLOOK
THURSDAY & FRIDAY are expected to be dry, rather cloudy at times, but also some intervals of sunshine. Temperatures should be near or a little above the early April average.
