SATURDAY 9th APRIL

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
A S.E.breeze has brought a sheet of cloud to our area from off the North Sea. We will have to be patient to see if it breaks up. Many places in the U.K. are already fine & sunny, so this low cloud is particularly frustrating! The current temperature is only 10 degrees.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A cloudy start & a risk that it will take some time for this North Sea cloud sheet to break up. While it persists, temperatures will be pegged back to about 11 or 12 degrees. Hopefully, later on, the sun will start breaking through, in which case, the thermometer should rise to around 18 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Rather cloudy at times, though perhaps a few breaks likely. No frost expected, with lowest temperatures around 7 degrees.

OUTLOOK
SUNDAY may well start cloudy, though there should be some sunshine at times later. Highest temperatures up to 17 degrees in the afternoon sunshine. NEXT WEEK--generally on the slide, though Monday should still be mild with very little rain. Colder as the week goes on, with more chance of some rain.
