Another beautiful one, but it has been a cold night, with the month's lowest temperatures to date. ( with only one more day to go.) The last 4 nights have had an air frost at this site.
PITLOCHRY TODAY
Dry with long spells of sunshine. Maximum temperature around 16 or 17 degrees. A cool breeze off the North Sea.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Sunny this evening & largely clear overnight. Many places will get a ground frost & the most prone spots may get a touch of air frost.
OUTLOOK
SATURDAY to TUESDAY----Dry with spells of sunshine. A cool east wind means that the highest temperatures will be further west, while East Coast areas will feel chilly. Pitlochry maxima should be in the range 14 to 16. Nights will be rather nippy, with ground frosts.
