UPDATE @ 1800Hrs
Morning skies were covered by altostratus cloud, which made the sunshine weak & hazy, but once this moved away to the SE, skies cleared with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures rose to a very respectable 15.1. I climbed Ben Vrackie this afternoon, so hopefully some summit pictures to come in the next day or two.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Dry through the period, with some evening sunshine & clear spells tonight. Most places will have a ground frost & a few prone spots may just get a touch of air frost.
OUTLOOK
REST of THE WEEK. High pressure dominates the scene. Rain is NOT expected & with April's fall only on 26.4mms, gardeners & growers will have to water artificially. There should be some decent spells of sunshine & temperatures will reflect this, with a little above normal daytime values, but rather chilly nights, certainly with ground frosts.
