SUNDAY 24th APRIL

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
At 0700Hrs, the sky was clear & now it's 7/8ths stratocumulus. I can see some valley mist towards Dunkeld. This site has had its 1st air frost this April--though only just.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A cold start, with perhaps some valley mist patches. The morning should stay bright, with perhaps a little sunshine. Cloud will generally increase during the day from the N.W. It should, however, remain dry. It will be a touch warmer than yesterday, with highest temperatures up to about 14 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The period will be mostly cloudy, so temperatures will not fall as low as during the night just gone---down to about 6 degrees.  There is likely to be some light rain later in the night, perhaps lasting into the morning.

OUTLOOK
Much of next week is expected to be mainly dry, as high pressure builds over the country once again.. Daytime temperatures, however, are likely to be closer to the late April normal & nights could be on the cold side, with certainly the risk of some ground frosts.
