MONDAY 11th APRIL----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1700Hrs
It was a cloudy morning, with a little rain at times. The afternoon was brighter, with some good sunny spells, but there was a sharp shower around 3p.m.(heavy enough to drive me indoors from the garden). The day's rainfall, however, only totalled 0.8mms. The maximum temperature was 13.9, 7.3 degrees cooler than yesterday, but actually still 2.6 up on the average.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Some sunshine this evening, with still just the chance of an isolated shower. Becoming dry overnight with clear spells & becoming quite chilly. There is likely to be a ground frost in many places.

OUTLOOK
TUESDAY is likely to be dry for most of the time, but again, there may be a passing shower. There should be some good spells of sunshine, with broken clouds of the cumulus variety( like cotton wool). Highest temperatures should reach about 12 degrees.
There is a greater risk of a spell of rain during WEDNESDAY.
