UPDATE @ 1730Hrs
The day started wet, though the rain became lighter as the morning went on. The afternoon was mainly dry, but very windy at times from the west. The temperature reached 11 degrees. By evening, there was a good deal of clear sky with some sunshine.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The evening & first part of the night will be dry with some clear spells. Later on, cloud will increase, followed by some rain. Temperatures should remain above 5 degrees & it will still be windy.
OUTLOOK
FRIDAY is likely to start cloudy, with some rain for a while. This should dry up later in the morning, with an afternoon of partly cloudy skies, but also some bright or sunny intervals. It should become very mild, with a high of around 15 degrees.The WEEKEND should see some dry spells with sunshine at times, but a few heavy showers are likely to be around the area. Temperatures will fall a little after Friday's maximum value, but overnights should be frost-free.
