DAYLIGHT & DARKNESS ON THE VERNAL EQUINOX
At the Equinoxes, the dawn & dusk lines run parallel to lines of longitude, so that every place on the same longitude, will have dawn & dusk at the same time, no matter what the latitude. At around 10 o'clock this morning, both Brazil & Western Greenland were experiencing dawn.while Japan & Central Australia were having dusk. All places on the planet would receive equal lengths of daylight & darkness. Between now & high summer, the width of the daylight will gradually expand over the Northern Hemisphere, but contract over the Southern Hemishere
