THURSDAY 17th MARCH----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1630Hrs
The day improved quite quickly & mid & late morning saw a fair amount of sunshine. Cloud built somewhat during the afternoon, as shower cloud developed round & about, but it remained mostly dry & bright. Temperatures were a touch higher, with a respectable maximum of 9.6.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
It should remain dry throughout, with enough clear spells overnight to allow for quite a sharp frost by dawn, down to around -4 in the air & perhaps approaching -10 on the ground in flat, grassy spots. There may well be mist patches in the valley.

OUTLOOK
FRIDAY will get off to a nippy start, but the sun should be shining, except in spots affected by mist. The morning should stay dry, with some sunshine, but cloud will build somewhat during the afternoon, with an odd shower possible. Following the frosty start & with a fresh SW breeze, it may well be a touch colder, with maximum around 7 or 8 degrees.   SATURDAY is looking good--dry with some sunshine, but SUNDAY is likely to see more cloud, with perhaps a little rain.
