FRIDAY 11th MARCH

HEADLINES @ 0845Hrs

PITLOCHRY TODAY
There should be a good deal of dry, bright weather today, but with just the chance of an odd wintry shower. Lying snow should melt quickly in the sun. It will still be breezy from between W & NW & maximum temperatures will be below normal at 6 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Much of the evening & night should be clear & cold, with lowest temperatures a degree or so below freezing.

OUTLOOK
SATURDAY---This is where the problems start & as yet, the Met Office does not have updated warnings concerning amounts of snowfall to expect. A belt of rain & snow will be slow moving to the south of our area, but is expected to push slowly north during the day. The worst scenario is that snow could be persistent for several hours, having disruptive implications SO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH THE LATEST FORECASTS,ESPECIALLY IF YOU INTEND TRAVELLING.    Sunday also promises to be wintry.
