MONDAY 14th MARCH

HEADLINES @ 0845Hrs
No rail services between Perth & Inverness at present due to snow conditions between Blair Atholl & Inverness. There's still plenty of snow on the Ben & with a cloud break near-by, it is lit up by a fleeting glimpse of sunshine at 0842. Otherwise, a cold & largely cloudy morning, with all snow gone at this altitude.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Just the chance of an odd passing shower during the early morning & equally, there could be an odd cloud break.Generally, however, the day will stay mostly cloudy, but dry. Winds will not be as strong as yesterday, but still feeling cold at around 4 or5 degrees as a maximum.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A dry evening & night is expected. There will be some good cloud breaks & with lighter winds, frost is on the cards, with a miimum around -2 degrees.

OUTLOOK
TUESDAY is expected to be cloudy, with rain & perhaps some sleet spreading in. The hills may see further snow. The rain may be rather persistent, lasting into the evening. It should, however, be a little less cold.  WEDNESDAY should see less in the way of rain, but towards the END of the WEEK, it threatens to turn colder, while still remaining unsettled.
