HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Although it looks dry, there is actually the odd spit of light rain at present. It is mild, however, with 7 degrees at 0900hrs. There is a noticeable breeze from the SW.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A cold front will cross our area this afternoon, moving from the NW. The morning should stay mostly dry, but it will be  cloudy. During the afternoon, there is likely to be some rain at times, though amounts should be fairly small. It will be breezy from the SW, with the maximum temperature reaching about 9 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
There will be broken cloud, with some clear intervals & perhaps an odd shower (which could be sleety. There may be some snow accumulation on Ben Vrackie) W winds may reach force 5 or 6. & temperatures are likely to fall close to freezing by dawn.

OUTLOOK
WEDNESDAY will feel colder & as well as some bright spells with a little sunshine, there could be the odd shower of sleet or wet snow. Later in the day, an area of more general rain or sleet, with snow on the hills , is expected to spread into the area. LATER in the WEEK, the rather cold & unsettled conditions are expected to continue, though some brighter spells are likely too.
