WEDNESDAY 2nd MARCH----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1730Hrs
Wednesday turned out very pleasant, with sunny spells & well-broken cloud. The maximum temperature reached 9.8 degrees--about 1.5 degrees above average. By evening, cloud had started to increase from the NW.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A rather cloudy evening & night, with any clear skies retreating south eastwards. Overnight, it is just possible that there could be very small amounts of rain or drizzle, but most of this will disintegrate over the mountains before reaching Pitlochry. With all the cloud, temperatures should remain well above freezing, with lows of around 3 degrees.

OUTLOOK
High pressure is still dominating our weather, so the next few days are likely to be mainly dry. However, it is unlikely that there will be as much sunshine around as we have seen in recent days. Temperatures by day should be in the range 7 to 9 & there should be less in the way of frost.
